To understand we must connect. Our land is our base for education of our cultural practices. Our understanding to have the space to connect to our lands is where we start , it's where our ancestors have always practiced . Our xʷməθkʷəy̓əm people to this day use the same places as thousands of years ago to gather ,harvest , train , educate , create, follow and hold ceremonies, speak in the dialect and become connected to life and it's creations.

This is our existing aboriginal right , practice and custom . It is an integral part that must be practiced and protected not only by us but by those who also benifit from these unceded lands.
